BUSINESS ENGLISH CERTIFICATES
The Faculty of Economics Rijeka in cooperation with Cambridge University Press and the British Council in Zagreb. Organises courses and seminars in:

Business English

For the fifth year in the row, the Faculty of Economics Rijeka organises professional seminars of business English, which at the same time prepare the participants for the internationally acknowledged exams leading to Business English Certificates awarded by the University of Cambridge.

Objective and Purpose of the Seminar

The seminar is oriented towards the implementation of practical communicative skills and professional insight into business English in accordance with the “learning by doing in a real-world working environment” method.
Seminars are designed for students of the undergraduate and postgraduate studies, as well as business people, who wish to be or are already active participants in the contemporary world of international business where successful communication means successful business.

The seminars cover two levels of BEC exams: upper-intermediate and advanced level of English. The preparations for the exams are based on developing the four basic skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking.
