Program structure and methods

The lectures are organized in three semesters of core courses. Upon enrolment the Postgraduate Committee assigns a mentor to each student. After each semester the students are required to write a term paper, under the mentorship of a course professor of their choice.

Each course consists of 25 hours out of which 5 – 10 are designed for interactive seminars (workshops). The workshops are led by eminent experts from the Urban Institute Zagreb, which has been using contemporary interactive methods of education for several years. The program will include visits to government authorities and relevant domestic and foreign institutions.

The final thesis may be proposed to the Committee only after the student has acquired 80 credits.
