Business Opportunities Day - Meet&Employ 2025 - applications open until April 29, 2025.

The Career Center of the Faculty of Economics, University of Rijeka, is organizing the Business Opportunities Day - Meet&Employ for the fifth year in a row, an event designed to connect employers and students through speed dating interviews.

This year's edition will be held on May 6, 2025.

Business Opportunities Day - Meet&Employ is the first such event in Rijeka and Primorsko-Goranska County, and it enables cooperation between students and alumni and employers in the form of employment, scholarships for students of economics and business economics, and inclusion in the database of potential employees.

This year, business opportunities are offered by the following companies: Iaudit d.o.o., Fluentis d.o.o., Lidl, Dogma nekretnine d.o.o., ATLAS INTERNATIONAL d.o.o., CAREL Adriatic, Beling d.o.o., and ABC Travel travel agency.

Applications for job positions for students and alumni of the Faculty of Economics, University of Rijeka are open from 22 to 29 April 2025 at 23:59 via the online application form available HERE.

Applications are possible for a maximum of three positions, and in case of interest in more than one position, the application form must be completed for each position and a CV and motivation letter adapted to the specific vacancy must be attached each time.

Students have the opportunity to participate in 15-minute consultations at the EFRI Career Center, from 24 to 29 April 2025, in order to receive feedback on their CV and motivation letter. The appointment can be booked HERE.

The interview schedule for the Business Opportunities Day will be announced on April 30, 2025, and the interviews themselves will take place on May 6, 2025, at the Faculty premises. Interviews will be held one-on-one, lasting a maximum of 15 minutes, according to the previously announced schedule. Participation in interviews is possible only if the student/alumni has applied via the online form.

INFORMATION FOR EMPLOYERS

Applications for participation for employers are open until April 22, 2025 via the application form available HERE.

When applying, you must provide the following information: company name, contact person and their contact, job title/job opportunity, job description/job opportunity, application requirements, and upload the official logo of the organization.

All organizations that have the opportunity to employ students in the next few months, provide scholarships for students of economics and business economics, or some other business opportunity can participate.

After student applications are completed, on April 29, 2025, the schedule of interviews will be announced, which will be held on the Business Opportunities Day on May 6, 2025. Interviews will be held on the premises of the Faculty, one-on-one with each registered student, lasting a maximum of 15 minutes. Registered employers will, for preparation purposes, receive the CVs of all registered students before the interviews.
