INTERNSHIP AT RENOWNED COMPANIES FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES AND STUDENTS OF WEAKER MATERIAL STATUS

In the sixth edition of the socially responsible project "Iskustvo zlata vrijedi” (?), Poslovni dnevnik and Večernji list connect employers with students of weaker material status and students with disabilities. Their goal is to enable them to do internships that will help them with easier employment in the future. The project raises awareness, in the business and general environment, on the problem of employing those that have a harder time finding work.

Students with disabilities and student of weaker material status can apply for the competition ' Iskustvo zlata vrijedi 2018' by completing the application form found here: 
http://bit.ly/2KL6FK6. The application deadline is June 15th 2018. Alongside personal information, the application documentation needs to contain: a letter of motivation, CV and proof of disability or weaker material status.

Until now, more than 80 students were able to participate in the internships. Poslovni dnevnik and Večernji list proudly declare that a few of the students got a full time job after completing their internship.

At the final event that will be held in July, heads of the partner companies will meet the students that will be doing the internships. The selection of students and connecting them with the companies will be done by the Expert Committee, depending on the Faculties where the students are getting their education and their personal preferences. Each company that is part of the project can ensure an internship for one student, lasting a minimum of one month. In correlation with their needs and capabilities, the partner company can ensure interships for two or more students, lasting for more than one month.

The time for completing the internship is agreed on between the student and the partner company, but it needs to be completed by the end of 2018.

Poslovni dnevnik and Večernji list wish to help everyone to whom life did not give an equal starting point to join the work force more easily.
