Youth Voice for Integrity (YVI) is the second edition of a program that brings together young people aged 16 to 24 with the aim of encouraging the involvement of young people in the fight against corruption.
The program runs from September 2 to 6, 2021 in Varaždin, and is organized by the Green Window Forum for Sustainable Development with the financial support of the US Embassy in Zagreb.
The aim of the project is to familiarize participants with the definition of corruption, the consequences of corruption on the community and the ways in which corruption manifests itself in society (including media, health, politics and education), but also encourage them to think about solutions and ways to successfully fight corruption.
The first edition of the project was attended by 17 young people from all over Croatia, who after the program presented their own, very successful and creative, initiatives and projects to combat corruption.
The first part of the program consists of interactive lectures and workshops on corruption and the fight against corruption, which will be held by various lecturers who are experts in their fields.
In the second part of the program, participants will have the opportunity to design their own innovative strategies and initiatives to combat corruption, with mentoring support. During the last day of the program, participants will present their ideas, and those who want to implement their ideas will receive mentoring support after the program.
In addition, during their free time, participants will have the opportunity to get to know the city of Varaždin and the young people who are actively acting in it.
All costs of participation in the program are covered by the organizers.

The University of Rijeka is announcing a public call for the award of one-time financial assistance to students of the University of Rijeka in the areas affected by earthquakes.
