Student Entrepreneurship Incubator - presentation of program and opportunities

The Faculty of Economics and business of the University of Rijeka, in cooperation with the Rijeka Development Agency PORIN, created the Student Entrepreneurship Incubator project. The Student Entrepreneurship Incubator is a place where education, research and the economy meet. In such incubators, students get mentors who, with the necessary infrastructure, as well as the possibility of initial funding, help them develop business ideas.

Crucial for the sustainability of student businesses is mentoring by experienced entrepreneurs, business advisors and professors who help address initial challenges. Through a two-month education and mentoring program, students will receive all the help they need to develop their ideas.

We start in the autumn terms with the panel: "The importance of the student entrepreneurship incubator for the development of students' entrepreneurial skills". After that, potential applicants will have two workshops through which they will turn their ideas into entrepreneurial ventures and apply more easily to the Student Entrepreneurship Incubator program. There will also be additional consultations with potential applicants about applying for the Incubator.

In the process of selecting the received applications, we will ask potential applicants to present their business idea and readiness to dedicate themselves to their own project through a two-month program. There is no obligation to open a business after the program, but the program serves to develop entrepreneurial skills. Of course, if applicants will want to open a company, they will receive further help and support.
