A new generation of EFRI buddies is wanted!

You are a student at the Faculty of Economics and business University of Rijeka and you have free time that you would like to use helping others in the first months of studying and student life? Would you like to acquire new knowledge, skills, and most importantly - acquaintances and friendships?

For the third year in a row, the Faculty and the EFRI Career Center are launching a mentoring project for older students to younger ones - "EFRI buddy".

With desire to ensure the support of older students to freshmen in the academic year 2021/2022. we are opening a call for new Buddys!

The task of the EFRI Buddy is to organize meetings for its group of freshmen (minimum one meeting per month) throughout the winter semester (more or less as needed), where he would inform them about current issues important for studying and student life. The first meeting would be held during the first week of October, in Freshmen Week. All new candidates who apply and meet the conditions, will be prepared for possible questions of freshmen through the educational workshop "EFRI for freshmen" on the procedure for enrollment in the first year of undergraduate study (forms, Studomat, ..), important concepts freshmen meet for the first time, EFRI opportunities, finding their way around the Faculty (professional services, the old building of the Faculty, ..), etc.

In addition, all selected Buddys, after the introductory meeting, are OBLIGATORY to pass the workshops on presentation skills and the organization of events that will be held just for them.
