Bjelovar Startup 2019

The city of Bjelovar organises a tender for the best project idea "Bjelovar Startup 2019”. The main prize for the winner of the tender is 100.000 HRK provided by the city of Bjelovar, whereas the Croatian Managers’ and Entrepreneurs’ Association (HUM-CROMA) awards full scholarship, 22.500 HRK worth, for attending CROMA EDUcare mini MBA program in the autumn cycle 2019. Furthermore, three finalists of the competition will be granted a free mentorship and an expert consulting of experienced managers and entrepreneurs in their first year of business from their "Business Angels” – CRANE and HUM-CROMA.

All legal and natural persons have the right to participate, regardless of location, idea, age or other limiting factors. However, the award may be granted only once a startup company has been established, or incorporated into an existing legal person.

Five finalists will have the opportunity to present themselves and their ideas after the detailed analysis of all applications by the expert commission composed of: Davorin Štetner (CRANE), Saša Cvetojević (CRANE), Hrvoje Prpić (CRANE), Esad Čolaković (HUM-CROMA), Tajana Kesić Šapić (HGK – Croatian Chamber of Economy), Alen Host (Faculty of Economics and Business, University in Rijeka), Zrinka Puharić (Bjelovar University of Applied Sciences), Vedran Vujčić (Zagrebačka banka), Igor Topljak (Erste & Steiemärkische Bank), Anny Brusić (HUP – Croatian Employers' Association) i Damir Židanić (HOK – Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts).
