ECOUNITY - Ecology Awareness of Sustainable Green Development: Collaboration of Universities and Local Actors

The main objectives of the project:
The ECOUNITY PROJECT aims to raise the environmental awareness of undergraduate business and management students on the concept of sustainable development and to strengthen cooperation between universities and non-governmental organizations. The project brings together stakeholders from universities, non-governmental organizations and local actors to collect data and develop solutions to environmental challenges within a framework of shared values, civic engagement and participation in line with the priorities of the Erasmus+ program.
The project has planned numerous activities, such as online surveys, focus groups and workshops for students and staff on the status and opportunities for improving sustainable development, as well as a comparative review of existing legal and institutional frameworks for greater integration of sustainable practices and SDG elements into higher education and local community practice. The results of the above activities will be used for the development of an open e-learning platform with numerous digital materials (video tutorials, animated video content, quizzes, blogs, etc.) and additional offline activities, as well as for the creation of an SDG guide and action plan to be tested in a pilot project. The project will simultaneously develop new parts of the curriculum and an infrastructure platform for e-learning so that users will be able to share ideas in the forum, meet in chats and sessions and form working groups online.
