"Ideas, innovations, initiatives - the only role or unique position of young people?

The fourth panel within the project "21 ways to success" entitled "Ideas, innovations, initiatives - the only role or the unique position of young people?" will be held on Thursday, February 10, starting at 6 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel in Zagreb, with a live stream on the Entrio platform. The panelists of this panel will be Andrea Čović Vidović, Ivana Novoseelec and Vedrana Jelušić Kašić, and the moderators of the panel will be Manuela Šola and Vedrana Likan.

Andrea Čović Vidović is a communicator by profession: she has been managing public relations for the European Parliament since 2013, when Croatia became a member of the EU. Political scientist and linguist by education: at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Relations she did doctoral research on the relationship between the USA and the Western Balkans. Once a diplomat at the negotiations on Croatia's membership with the Union, then head of the EU service at the Ministry of Finance, then head of the sector for EU programs and projects at the Ministry of Labor and the Pension System - and even before that, an associate at the Institute for International Relations and Development in Zagreb and head of international projects in UNIQA insurance. She speaks 7 languages and has translated several books, trained to swim in the Jadran in Split as a child and is happiest in the sea; recently, in his free time, he has been more and more serious about singing.

 

Ivana Novoseelec is the executive director of the Academy for Political Development, an organization that deals with the education of young leaders, and today networks over 500 alumni from various spheres of public life. She entered the non-profit sector from a management position in the private sector. Namely, after the position of adviser in the then Ministry of European Integration and Foreign Affairs, in 2005 she and her partners started and for 15 years developed the first domestic consulting company specialized in consulting for development and EU funds - Razbor (today Apsolon), where as a director she dealt with strategic planning in public sector. Ivana is a comparatist by education and a professor of Croatian language and literature and has a master's degree in European studies from the University of Cambridge.

 

Vedrana Jelušić Kašić is a member of the Management Board of PBZ d.d. in charge of Business with medium and large companies and investment banking; coordinates the companies PBZ Croatia osiguranje d.d. for managing mandatory pension funds and PBZ-Leasing d.o.o. Vedrana has more than 20 years of managerial experience in international financial institutions. Before PBZ, she was at Deloitte, and before that, Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary and Slovakia. Vedrana directly managed more than 40 transactions in 12 countries of Central and Southeastern Europe. She was a member of supervisory boards in several food and trade companies in the region. She graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb and received her master's degree in international economics and finance from Brandeis University, Massachusetts, USA. He holds the Financial Times, London, United Kingdom diploma for non-executive directors, members of supervisory boards.
