International study visit to sucessful companies in Austria and Slovenia

As apart of the project "Increasing the employability of students through the improvement of the Center for career and development of professional practice - CEZAR", the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Rijeka has organized an international study visit to successful companies in Austria and Slovenia for its students.

In the week from September, 26 until the September 30, our students, together with expert associates at the Faculty of Economics in Rijeka, Morena Simčić and Eric Mičetić visited the Zotter chocolate factory and the factory of the manufacturer Hirt (Austria), companies RIKO d.o.o., Medius (d.o.o.) , the regional agency of Gorenjska in Kranj and the company Vinokoper (Slovenia). During the five-day trip, the hosts presented the students with their business, development, projects they work on every day and pointed out all the opportunities and challenges they face in the business world, followed by a tour of the plant and office.

Hereby, we would like to thank our hosts for their hospitality, effort and time, as well as their knowledge that they passed on to our students.
