Mentors of the future - education on September 15

On September 15, 2022, the lecture "Mentors of the future - preparation for mentoring and the process of mentoring during professional practice" was held at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Rijeka.

The lecture was given by M.Sc. Jan Kreber, Head of the Service for Selection, Education and Development of Employees at Jadrolinija and the main mentor for students on professional practice at the Company.

The topics of the lectures were:

· What is mentoring;

· Professional practice – implementation process;

· Benefits of professional practice for students, mentors and the organization;

· The role, tasks and obligations of the mentor during professional practice;

· Characteristics of a good mentor;

· Defining the goal and content of the professional practice implementation program;

· An example from practice – The process of mentoring professional practice of students in Jadrolinija;

· Instructions for using the Portal for Professional Practices EFRI;

The lecture will be held again on September 23, 2022, starting at 2 p.m., and prior registration via the link is mandatory.
