Promotion of the Economy of Development

The University of Rijeka, Faculty of Economics and Business, in cooperation with the Career Centre and first-year students of the Graduate study programme, are presenting to you a promotion of the Masters programme - Economy of Development.

The goal of this event is to:

1) promote the Economy of Development to students of undergraduate study programs (especially to third-year students),

2) present courses of the Economy of Development taught within the Graduate study programme and to

3) introduce possibilities for students after they graduate.

The global environment is in constant changes; it is characterized by everyday changes in society, technology, economy and, now more than ever, nature and our natural habitat. Because of that, the economic growth of countries is not sustainable without implementing the concept of sustainable development. Economic and social policies of modern age require efficient management of natural recourses in which our societies and economies function. It is an imperative of building and sustaining economies.

This event is gathering the professors and students of the Economy of Development Graduate programme, with the sole purpose to present and promote courses offered due to ever changing globalized economy faced with constant changes in climate, technology, and society.
