Workshop on

As part of the EU project: "Increasing the employability of students through the improvement of the Center for Careers and Development of Professional Practice - CEZAR", the Career Center in cooperation with STEP RI d.o.o. organizes an online workshop on "Design thinking"

The workshop will be held on June 1, 2021 (Tuesday) starting at 4 p.m. via the Zoom platform.

 ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:

Design thinking is a creative process of finding solutions to business challenges, regardless of the activity and size of the organization. This methodology is successfully applied by everyone - from multinational companies, public administration to small companies and startups.

It is applicable in many situations, but one thing they all have in common - the focus of the solution is always the users and their real needs.

Design thinking arose in response to a challenge: how to get managers and engineers to think creatively and apply creative processes to address business challenges, especially when creating innovation and transforming business.

In addition to product and service innovation, the design thinking methodology creates benefits when applied to problem solving in customer service processes - from marketing and sales to delivery and service and reengineering of internal business processes and organizational relationships.

At the education through theory and practical exercises, participants will get acquainted with the methodology and learn to use the methodology through 5 phases of implementation. Among other things, they will learn how to approach problem identification by working in a group. Furthermore, participants will learn to use creative thinking techniques, learn about prototyping methods and test their ideas. The workshop also includes introducing participants to other tools and their use for the purpose of implementing the design thinking methodology.

Content:

  • Presentation of phases of methodology on problem tasks
  • Application of different techniques used in the methodology
