Through education to success

In its Development Strategy, the Faculty of Economics and Business set a goal to be a publicly responsible, relevant partner and a subject of the region's transition into knowledge based society. With the aim of fulfilling this public function, as one of the co-organizers, the Faculty of Economics and Business teaching staff shall participate in a programme called "Through education to success”.

This education is held every Wednesday in February from 17 to 20 o'clock in Crikvenica City Hall.

The education programme covers the topics on entrepreneurship, accounting, finance and marketing.

In the first week, Ivona Matošić Gašparović, deputy mayor and Kristijan Košćić, the president of the City of Crikvenica and the Municipality of Vinodol Craftsmen Association addressed the audience, and the project itself was presented by Snježana Sikirić, senior expert associate for economy, tourism and projects in the city of Crikvenica.

Zoran Ježić, Ph. D., Assoc. Prof., Vice-dean for Undergraduate Studies presented the activities of the Faculty of Economics and Business and Rijeka, as well as its programmes and projects. Furthermore, Mirjana Grčić Fabić, Ph. D., Ass. Prof. held a lecture on the topic "On entrepreneurship - become and remain an entrepreneur. Why be an entrepreneur?"
In the following weeks, lectures will be held by Ana Marija Skirić, Ph. D., Ass. Prof., Bojana Olgić Draženović, Ph. D., Ass. Prof. and Ivana First Komen, Ph. D., Assoc. Prof.
