Voluntary blood donation

The Faculty of Economics and Business in Rijeka and ALUMNI EFRI, in cooperation with the City Association of the Red Cross in Rijeka, organize a voluntary blood donation which will be held on Tuesday, 16 April 2019 at the Faculty's reading room from 9 to 13 o'clock.

Blood is an irreplaceable medicine and it cannot be gained artificially.

The only source of blood is a human.

Without blood, many patients would not survive or recover.A voluntary, unpaid blood donor is a person who gives blood, plasma or other blood components voluntarily and does not receive any kind of payment for that.

The basic principles of blood donation are: voluntarism, anonymity, solidarity and gratuitousness.We invite everyone willing to donate blood to join this action.

This way, we will together continue a successful series of humanitarian actions at the Faculty.

There will be a meal at the Faculty's canteen for all voluntary blood donors.
