As part of the EU project: "Increasing the employability of students through the improvement of the Center for Careers and Development of Professional Practice - CEZAR", led by the Faculty of Economics, University of Rijeka, the Career Center organizes a workshop on "How to fight for yourself in the business world?"

The workshop will be held on January 25th, starting at 4 p.m. via the Zoom platform.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
Starting work after graduation is an extremely stressful event, especially if it is also your first job. New people, a new environment and new rules that we need to adapt to very quickly are reasons enough to make us feel discouraged. Fortunately, there are various techniques and tools in the field of applied psychology that can make our adjustment easier!

Participants will learn in the workshop:

How to convince other people of the usefulness of your idea

How to show proactivity and responsibility in the workplace

What is assertiveness in communication and how to communicate effectively with work colleagues

How to make an impact on other people - regardless of their age and work experience

Why is it important to know what we are good at, and how to show commitment in business

How to negotiate in the workplace

The number of participants is limited, and applications are accepted until Friday - January 22, 2021, or until the place is filled via the ONLINE form available HERE.

All active participants will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the workshop.
