Competition for admission to the first year of university graduate and professional graduate studies in 2023/2024. acc. year


Entry requirement: Academic undergraduate degree (BA/BSc) in the field of Economics or Business Economics (at least 180 ECTS credits). An English proficiency level IELTS 6.0 is recommended as a minimum.

Application process:
 
STEP 1
First inform yourself about your application eligibility and costs (fees, deposits, health insurance costs, accommodation and subsistence costs etc.) at international@efri.hr 
 
STEP 2
If eligible and ready to apply, submit your foreign bachelor diploma for recognition to the Rijeka University's Recognition Office (latest May/June). 

 
STEP 3
In September, following application documents have to be submitted (like explained in Call for Application):
  • Passport copy
  • Bachelor Diploma – in English
  • Bachelor Diploma Supplement (or official transcript of records, if diploma supplement not available) – in English
  • Decision document (from the Rijeka University’s Recognition Office) about your bachelor diploma recognition

Waiting for application results (mid September)

Application process is similar for both EU and non-EU citizens. The only difference is in the receiving quota. EU citizens applying for full-time studying in Croatia are treated under same regulations as Croatian students, meaning they have the same rights and obligations.
 
Non-EU citizens are applying within the receiving quota for non-EU students and are obliged to full tuition for non-EU students.
