About the undergraduate study programms

The individuals who completed a corresponding four-year secondary education program and passed the secondary school exit exams (state Matura) have the right to enroll in an undergraduate study program. Students enroll in an undergraduate study program via "Postani student” system.



Upon the completion of an undergraduate study program, students are awarded a minimum of 180 ECTS credits and are able to enroll in a corresponding graduate study program .


The acquired knowledge and skills can be classified into five categories: Knowledge and Understanding, Applied Knowledge and Understanding, Making Conclusions and Critical Thinking, Communication, Learning Skills. The acquired competencies are manifested through the ability to analyse, synthesize and solve problems in the field of economics and business economics; to develop critical thinking; to develop the ability of self-studying, to make relationships among different types of knowledge, to adjust to new relationships (flexibility); to creatively solve business problems of institutions and companies, their organization, management and other highly qualified jobs in the field of economics and business economics, i. e. to develop and apply professional achievements. 


Depending on the chosen undergraduate study program (Economics or Business Economics) and study track, the acquired qualification of the Bachelor in Economics/ Business Economics enables the students to find a job and carry out demanding professional work at partnerships, companies and state administration.


Some of the occupations for Bachelors in Economics are: low-level and middle-level managers in different activities, the CEOs of small/ medium-sized companies and other institutions, and other business-organizational and related experts, business experts for finance and banking, analysts, PR or HR experts etc.
